What is Static Electricity?
Static electricity is nothing but an unbalanced electric charge within or on the surface of a material. The electric charge remains until it is able to get discharged by means of an electric current or electrical discharge. Static electricity is named opposed to current electricity, which flows through wires or other conductors and transmits electric current.
A static electricity can be created whenever two surfaces contact & separate, and at least one of the surfaces has a high resistance to electric current.
